Photo Shoot/Workshop: Night Sky Photography Workshop – Hosted by Dennis Mammana

If you enjoy photography and are fascinated by the night sky, this hands-on course is for you! During daytime, students will be indoors, and will learn to use their camera to create stunning celestial portraits. As darkness falls, we’ll head out into bush to shoot a variety of celestial phenomena (weather permitting). You will need a camera—digital or film— that can be adjusted manually to take time exposures, a tripod, a remote control or cable release, a flashlight covered with red cellophane, and their camera’s user manual. More details, like cost, time, etc, will be provided next month. Workshop will be limted to 15.
