Reluctant Cousins

Jennifer George-Walker is relatively new to the field of professional photography but she has already made her presence known by winning awards and presenting programs on her unique style of photography. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of San Diego County and in her first year of entering print competition was awarded Portrait Photographer of the Year in 1999. The following year she won Illustrative Photographer of the Year. She is also a member of Professional Photographers of California and was named the California Photographer of the Year 2000 and also captured the People’s Choice Award at the state convention in January 2001. She joined the Professional Photographers of America in 1999 and began entering prints into competition and in just 3 years has completed the educational and print merits needed to receive her Master of Photography degree. She is also a Certified Professional Photographer. In 2003, she won both the Grand Premier and First Place awards at the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International convention in Las Vegas.

Jennifer has a very unique style and she will discuss what she does to capture those award winning expressions with her subjects as well as how you can find your own style if you haven’t yet defined what it is. She is constantly evolving and trying new ideas in her own work and will give you pointers that will assist your on your own path of creativity. She feels that we as photographic artists need to be continually moving and changing so that we challenge ourselves to move to higher levels in our work. You will be sure to come away from her program energized and ready to take your style of photography to a new level.
