Mounting and Framing Your Images for the Member's Show

Given below are some brief instructions to help you prepare your images for hanging at the Members Exhibition.

Your work must be framed unless you flush mount on gator board or foam core or use wrap-around canvas stapled on the back (no staples on the sides). Frames must be attached in a professional manner (ask for advice from an art supply store like Rhino Art or Aaron Bros). Pieces flush-mounted onto gator board or foam core must have the appropriate serrated foam core hanging devices.

You must have multi-strand wire that is attached approximately a quarter to a third of the way down from the top of the frame and with enough slack to hang about two inches from the top. Wire ends should be trimmed and taped to avoid fraying. Please do not use saw-toothed hangers found with ready-made frames, but rather use flat D-Rings

You must have your name, title of the piece, and category description on the reverse side of your work.
