The September membershare topic:    “Your favorite vacation/summer image”

Although this year the weather didn’t quite play along, summer in San Diego evokes thoughts of crowded beaches and sun, sandcastles and the fair, marathons and baseball, barbeques, free concerts, street fairs and surf competitions, and so much more…. Summer usually also means the beginning of vacation season – whether we went to distant places or stayed close to home. Now it is September and the last days of summer are winding down as we are heading into fall. This is a great time to go through the photographs we took in the last few months and relive some of these moments.

An image might become a favorite because it captures a special moment. Or maybe the circumstances around taking the image were memorable. The photograph might tell a story, jog a memory, or capture an extraordinary instant in time. It might record a fleeting moment of beauty or a sightseeing adventure.

We would like for you to share your summer memories and submit two of your favorite images for September’s meeting.

During member share, we are looking forward to hear about your exploration, the approach you tried and whether you were happy with the result! We will vote for the “Viewers’ Choice Image of the Month” to be displayed on the NCPS’ website.
